Expansion of the TSNU extra mural Master on “Economic Security of Entrepreneurship” at Taras Schevchenko National University in Kyiv, Ukraine

In 2019, the Master program on ‘Economic Security of Entrepreneurship’ at Taras Schevchenko National University in Kyiv, Ukraine, have started and since then is growing at the same university and also sharing the knowledge with other universities across the country.
As part of this expansion program, four modules on export controls of dual-use materials and technologies have been implemented in 6 educational master programs (daily and extra mural forms) programs in Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of TSNU:
- Civil Service
- Local government
- Parliamentarism
Since over a hundred students are involved in those programs, the specific knowledge about export control is now reaching out more governmental organizations and professionals from many different institutions.
Meanwhile, in this Institute a new bachelor (Administration of National Security) and a new master program (Strategic Management of National Security) will be launched in 2022. Six modules on export controls of dual-use materials and technologies will be included in these Programs.
Finally, in the Institute of Biology and Medicine (another structural unit of TSNU) a new master program Biosafety will be launched in 2022, and it will include two modules in its education plan.

Expansion beyond the TSNU borders.
On the Faculty of Geology and Geography of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University it would be implemented 2 modules.
In the nearest future we are going to have negotiations with other Ukrainian Universities which are interested in getting new transfer of knowledge and want to be attractive for students.


The popularization of export control and dual use knowledge helps to raise awareness on the importance of having export controls and that they are implemented in a sound and responsible way.
