STCU Makes Presentation to the European Business Association

On 19 January, STCU Executive Director Andrew Hood gave an introductory presentation on the STCU to the European Business Association (EBA) in Kyiv. Over 150 representatives from European and other western businesses and investment firms were present for the STCU presentation. The STCU is a recent member of the EBA, and this was its first opportunity to introduce itself to the EBA membership. The EBA event, co-hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, also included a report from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on its most recent report on the “transition economies” of the region, which included a macroeconomic evaluation of the Ukrainian economy and business environment.
