First Ukrainian Competition for Best Popular Science Article «Science and Innovations for Society»

On December 3, 2004, a delegation from the STCU participated in the award ceremony for the First Ukrainian Competition for Best Popular Science Article entitled «Science and Innovations for Society». The STCU was one of the financial supporters of the competition and Executive Director Andrew Hood addressed the audience on behalf of the Center.

In total, 146 articles from 133 authors were received with 95 articles being accepted for participation in the competition. Although the majority of articles were submitted from Ukraine, participants from Canada, Great Britain and Russia also entered the competition.
