STCU Hosts Kick-Off Meeting for Major New IPP-Supported Partnership Project

On February 9, the kick-off meeting for a major new IPP-supported, Partner project was held at STCU Headquarters. The 3-year project will be funded for over $1 million, with the research work taking place at two institutes, a private company and a university in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kyiv. Argonne National Laboratory is the Technical Monitor for the project, while the commercial Partners are two American corporations: Superior Graphite (Chicago, IL) and the Columbian Chemicals Company (Marietta, GA). The President and CEO of Superior Graphite and the Senior Vice President of Columbian Chemicals Company both participated in the kick-off meeting.
