South Korean Ambassador Visits STCU

On 15 April, H.E. Ambassador Park Ro-byug of the Republic of Korea met with STCU Executive Director Andrew Hood to become familiar with the STCU mission and its activities. Mr. Kim Hyun-Duk (Minister Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine) also attended the meeting. At the meeting, STCU ED Hood made a presentation on STCU and answered questions from the Ambassador on the programs and organization of STCU and its Governing Board. AMB Park noted that there is growing interest in South Korea to expand S&T partnership activities and other forms of cooperation in Ukraine, and that this included consideration of South Korea joining STCU in the near future. Thus, AMB Park wanted to visit STCU in order to deepen his understanding of the STCU.
