STCU Delegation holds a Meeting with NASU

On February 14 2012 an STCU delegation lead by Executive Director Ambassador M. Michael Einik met with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Borys Paton, Vice-president Academician Anton Naumovets, Academician Y. Yatskiv and other high officials of the NASU. The sides discussed the mutual cooperation between the STCU and NASU which started in 2004 and the possible areas of targeted future cooperation for 2012. The sides agreed that their cooperation over the previous year was highly valuable for the advancement of Ukrainian science and development of contacts between Ukrainian and Western partners. Mr. Borys Paton also highlighted the successes of Targeted Initiative program and emphasized the importance of joint cooperative effort by exploiting the experience accumulated by both sides.
